I just wanted to take a minute to say thankyou to Phil Parry, Liam Daly and the whole team for all the efforts over the last weeks with our Crewing Director search.
In the end we had a hard choice between two very good candidates but there were several that could have “done the job”.

I thought the conference was excellent and a refreshing change from the normal format for shipping events. The panels were informative and had knowledgeable speakers. The sessions from Virgin Atlantic and Paul Tizzard were particularly good and provided helpful examples from other industries to reduce the isolation of only shipping views and toe introduce new ideas. The speed dating exercise was helpful and changed the energy in the room. The fact that so many people joined in shows how much people value it, even if it pushed them out of their comfort-zone a little!
