THE ICS celebrates its centenary year this year with a series of events including a splendid black tie dinner at the National Maritime Museum in London on May 26th.
There is also the book launch of "Quality Ashore: A history of the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers" with a foreword by Dr Helmut Sohman. Contact Ameera Begum for copies ([email protected])
To help steer them through this busy year, ICS is looking for a special person to take on the mantel of Director of the Institute to succeed Alan Phillips, who sadly passed away before Christmas. Look out for the job – and how to apply – on www.shippingjobs.com and in the shipping press over the next few weeks.
If you have what it takes to lead ICS into the next century, we'd love to hear from you.
And if you'd like to attend the dinner on 26th May, please e-mail London Branch chairman Jonathan Williams at [email protected]
