Hayley Menere
Hayley has been a pivotal figure in the recruitment industry since 2006 and currently serves as a Principal Recruitment Consultant at Spinnaker, specialising in the Legal, P&I, and Insurance desk. Joining the team in 2019, Hayley collaborates closely with colleagues Jay Farr and Clementine Matiwaza, focusing on resourcing and recruiting candidates at all levels across the comprehensive Legal and Insurance space.
With a robust global network, Hayley recruits for a variety of organisations, including Insurers, Law Firms, P&I Clubs, and Shipping Companies. Her extensive experience has enabled her to build long-lasting relationships within this niche market, providing her with an impressive list of contacts ranging from UK Qualified Solicitors to recent Graduates and Senior Underwriters. Hayley's comprehensive knowledge of the maritime industry's unique challenges and requirements enables her to provide tailored recruitment solutions that effectively support the strategic objectives of her clients.
Throughout her nearly two-decade career in recruitment, Hayley has garnered significant recognition, notably achieving a position as one of the ‘UK’s Top 5 Permanent Consultants’ at Brook Street Bureau. She is also accredited by the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) in Human Resources Management and Personnel Administration, further underscoring her expertise and commitment to excellence in recruitment.
In addition to her professional accomplishments, Hayley is an active member of the Women’s International Shipping and Trading Association (WISTA). She is often seen networking at WISTA events throughout the year, where she advocates for diversity and inclusion within the maritime sector.
Outside of her professional life, Hayley is an enthusiastic concertgoer who enjoys traveling and merging her passions. She’s attended concerts by Adele in Munich and Calvin Harris in Ibiza. Additionally, she is an avid paddleboarder and enjoys keeping active while chasing after her two children.
