Finance Manager – Mumbai

Are you ready to take the lead in managing financial operations and driving strategic business decisions?

You’ll managing the Finance and Accounts function in India, ensuring strong fiscal, statutory, and management reporting, along with business planning.
  
Your role will focus on financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance, providing insightful analysis to support decision-making and business growth.
  
Responsibilities include managing annual financial accounts, audits, and tax compliance, ensuring cost efficiency, and optimizing financial processes. You will oversee local accounting, internal controls, and administrative operations while collaborating with the Finance Director and Executive Director to align financial strategies with business objectives.
  
In your position, you will also support Corporate Social Responsibility activities, ensure compliance for charitable trusts, and assist in investment decision-making. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and external service providers to maintain compliance with local regulations and financial best practices.
  
We are seeking to speak with you if you have:

• CA or MBA with a finance/business background with extensive post-qualification experience in finance and accounting.
• Experience in the shipping industry. 
• Expertise in fiscal, statutory, and management reporting, as well as cash management and budgeting.
• Strong knowledge of Indian taxation, especially as applicable to shipping companies.
• Proficiency in financial modeling and Discounted Cash Flow  calculations.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with external stakeholders.
