Experienced Vessel Operator – London

Seeking motivated and experienced Vessel Operators to join our client in the London market who focus predominately on the dry bulk sector. 

Role Outline

The role will focus on ensuring a safe, efficient and timely delivery of all vessels and cargos, taking ownership of cargo shipments and full control of the vessel on specific voyages.

• Supporting with continuous email and phone correspondence with charterers, ship-owners and the ship’s crew.
• Conducting calculations for bunker supplies.
• Organising the loading and discharge operations at port.
• Undertaking laytime calculations and preparing hire statements/freight payments.
• Maintain existing relations between the business and clients.

More about you:

• Experience in an Operator role is essential.
• Dry Bulk experience is essential.
• Proficient on Microsoft Office. 
• Excellent communication – written and verbally.
• Self-motivated, ambitious and driven.
• Hold high attention to detail and strong numeracy skills.
• Additional languages – a huge bonus!
