Commercial Pricing Analyst – London
 
An opportunity for a Commercial Pricing Analyst to join our established shipping client in London that specializes in trade routes between West Africa, North Europe, and the Mediterranean. This is a full-time position with occasional travel required throughout Europe and West Africa.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Assess and respond to pricing enquiries for containers and Breakbulk Timber across multiple trade routes.
• Monitor market segments for competitive changes, rate levels, and performance metrics.
• Develop business targets and pursue growth opportunities aligned with commercial objectives.
• Maintain tariffs, quotes, service contracts and demurrage concessions in internal systems.
• Build and nurture relationships with the agency network and customers through regular communication and occasional visits.

Requirements

• Degree level education or equivalent experience
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the shipping industry within a commercial environment
• Proficiency with Office 365 software
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to present information concisely
• Problem-solving abilities with a focus on swift resolution
• Capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Availability to travel within Europe and West Africa

Highly Desirable

• French language skills (strong advantage)
