Open position for an experienced Credit Risk Analyst to join a leading organisation within the international commodities and shipping sector. This is a fast-paced, commercially focused role offering significant exposure to global markets.
 
Key Responsibilities
 
You will be responsible for conducting detailed credit risk assessments on a diverse range of international counterparties. You will work closely with commercial teams, providing insightful credit recommendations that balance business growth with sound risk management principles.
 
A key aspect of the position involves developing a network and liaising with external parties as well as the wider credit community to gather critical insights into market conditions and financial stability. You will be expected to monitor industry trends and geopolitical developments, ensuring that credit policies remain aligned with evolving market dynamics.
 
You will work closely with traders to find commercially viable solutions while managing risk effectively. The focus is on enabling business opportunities wherever possible, while ensuring that transactions remain within acceptable risk parameters.
 
Collaboration with global credit teams across multiple offices is essential to maintain a consistent and informed approach to credit decisions.
 
About You:
 

•      Experience in credit risk analysis, ideally within shipping, bunkering, commodities, or financial services.
•      Proven ability to assess and manage risk in fast-paced, high-value trading environments.
•      Strong commercial acumen, capable of balancing risk management with business growth.
•      Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to challenge and influence senior traders and external partners.
•      Self-motivated and decisive, able to work independently within defined credit limits.
