A leading investment platform is seeking a senior maritime finance professional to lead the origination, execution, and management of maritime investment opportunities.

The successful candidate will leverage an established network across shipowners, operators, brokers, banks, and industry advisers to generate and execute asset-backed and structured finance transactions across the shipping sector.

Key Requirements

• Experience in maritime finance, shipping investment banking, leasing, asset finance, or private credit.
• Proven track record of originating and closing maritime transactions.
• Strong relationships across the global maritime ecosystem.
• Experience in asset-backed lending, leasing, structured finance, or alternative credit.
• Commercial, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate autonomously.

Responsibilities

• Originate and develop maritime investment opportunities.
• Lead transaction execution from initial assessment through to closing.
• Manage portfolio performance and stakeholder relationships.
• Contribute to investment strategy and identify emerging market opportunities.
