Senior Counsel – Middle East

A leading international energy organisation is seeking an experienced Senior Legal Counsel to join its headquarters team in the Middle East.

This is a rare opportunity for a senior energy lawyer to play a key role in high-value LNG and energy trading activities, advising on complex cross-border transactions, long-term LNG Sales & Purchase Agreements, trading operations, exports, regulatory matters, and dispute resolution.

The successful candidate will work closely with senior leadership and commercial teams, providing strategic legal guidance across a global portfolio of energy trading and infrastructure activities.

Key Requirements:

• Qualified solicitor (England & Wales) and/or US Attorney
• 15+ years’ experience in energy law and international commercial transactions
• Strong LNG and energy trading experience
• Proven track record negotiating complex SPAs and commercial agreements
• In-house experience within the energy, LNG, oil & gas, or trading sectors preferred
• Experience working across multiple jurisdictions and international markets
• Willingness to relocate on an expatriate basis
