Yacht Business Development Manager – Germany

This well-established insurer has been providing high-quality coverage for sailing and motor yachts since 1999, ranging from day sailors to superyachts. Through its technical expertise, customer-focused approach, and worldwide network of trusted partners, the company has established itself as one of the leading providers of specialist yacht insurance solutions.
Rather than working directly with yacht owners, the business collaborates with an international network of yacht managers, boat dealers, insurance brokers, shipyards, and other industry partners. With a close-knit team of around thirty highly motivated professionals, the company is continuing to expand internationally and is now looking to strengthen its business development function.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Building and developing strategic partnerships across the international yachting industry
• Identifying, approaching, and securing new business partners through a variety of channels
• Onboarding, training, and supporting newly appointed partners
• Managing and strengthening relationships with existing international partners
• Representing the company at national and international yacht shows, exhibitions, and industry events

Requirements:

• Completed degree or vocational qualification
• Several years of experience and an established network within the international yachting industry
• Genuine passion for yachts and the wider marine sector
• Fluent English, both written and spoken. Additional languages are highly advantageous
• Confident, professional communication style with excellent relationship-building skills
