Technical Superintendent – Ro-Pax Ferries – UK/Ireland

We are seeking an experienced Technical Superintendent to take responsibility for the technical management of two large Ro-Pax ferries. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established operation where you will play a key role in ensuring the safe, efficient and compliant operation of a modern passenger fleet.
Working closely with ship and shore-based teams, you will oversee all aspects of technical management, from day-to-day vessel support to major maintenance projects and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities

• Technical management of two large Ro-Pax ferries
• Management of operational (OPEX) and capital (CAPEX) budgets
• Planning, coordinating and executing dry dockings and major vessel upgrades
• Day-to-day technical support and maintenance management
• Oversight of safety, crewing and environmental performance
• Emissions monitoring and ensuring compliance with all relevant maritime regulations
• Liaising with vessel crews, contractors, classification societies and regulatory authorities to maintain the highest operational standards

About You
We’re looking for a proactive and experienced marine professional who can confidently manage multiple priorities while maintaining a strong focus on safety, reliability and operational excellence.
Essential:

• Chief Engineer (C/E) Certificate of Competency
• Previous experience as a Technical Superintendent
• Full driving licence
• Existing right to work in the UK or Ireland

Desirable:

• Experience with Ro-Ro, Ro-Pax or High-Speed Craft (HSC) vessels

Location: Ireland or UK (Hybrid)
Travel: Minimum 10 working days per month in Dublin (company accommodation provided)
