Finance Director – Nigeria

An international maritime services organisation is seeking an experienced senior finance leader to join its executive team. This is a strategically important position within a well-established global business operating across multiple service lines.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading all financial activities across a complex regional operation, providing strategic financial guidance, commercial insight and robust governance to support continued growth and operational performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of financial management, reporting and control.
• Partner with senior leadership to drive business performance and strategic decision making.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management and long-term financial planning.
• Provide analysis and recommendations on commercial opportunities, investments and operational performance.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory, audit, tax and governance requirements.
• Lead and develop a high-performing finance team.
• Drive continuous improvement across financial systems, controls and processes.
• Support business growth initiatives, acquisitions and transformation projects where required.

Candidate Profile

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Proven experience in a senior finance leadership role within a complex international business.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to influence executive stakeholders.
• Experience managing multi-entity operations and diverse stakeholder groups.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams, improve performance and drive change.
