Marine Salvage & Emergency Response Professionals
Location: International / UAE / Cyprus
Employment: Permanent, Contract or Project-Based
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience and engagement

Spinnaker is supporting an established international maritime services business experiencing significant growth across its marine salvage and emergency response operations.

With several active projects and an expanding workload, we’re seeking experienced maritime professionals across four positions, with opportunities ranging from shore-based project coordination to senior, hands-on salvage leadership.

Current Opportunities:

  • Shore Coordinator / Assistant Project Manager: Coordinate shore-based logistics, personnel mobilisation, equipment, contractors and project administration across international salvage operations.
  • Salvage Officer: Support on-site salvage activities, coordinating crews, equipment and contractors during wreck removal, emergency response and vessel recovery operations.
  • Project Manager – Marine Salvage: Manage projects from mobilisation through completion, overseeing operations, resources, contractors, budgets and client communications.
  • Salvage Master: Lead on-site salvage and emergency response operations, directing personnel, equipment and technical activities during complex maritime incidents.

What We’re Looking For:
Depending on the position, we’re interested in professionals with experience across:

  • Marine salvage, wreck removal, casualty response or offshore marine operations.
  • Vessel operations, marine engineering, technical fleet management or naval architecture.
  • Project management, logistics, contractor coordination and operational delivery.
  • Emergency response, vessel recovery, refloating, towing, lifting or cargo removal.
  • Managing complex, time-sensitive operations in demanding marine environments.

Direct salvage experience is highly desirable, but not essential for every position. Candidates from Technical Superintendent, Fleet Manager, Master Mariner and related maritime operational backgrounds will also be considered where their experience is transferable.

Working Arrangements:
Our client offers flexibility depending on the role and project requirements:

  • Permanent, freelance and project-based opportunities.
  • International applicants considered, with Cyprus and UAE experience particularly relevant.
  • Shore-based, remote coordination and on-site/project deployment arrangements depending on the position.
  • International travel and mobilisation, particularly to projects in the UAE.
  • Potential for longer-term employment following successful project assignments.

These are urgent requirements, and candidates with strong operational experience and availability for upcoming projects are particularly encouraged to apply.

Interested? Get in touch with Spinnaker for a confidential discussion, outlining your relevant experience, location, availability and preferred working arrangement.
