An international P&I correspondents is looking for a new claims handler to join their team in Spain.
This position primarily covers ports and terminals, freight forwarders, logistics operators, hauliers etc rather than pure shipping/P&I claims. The claims themselves can be wide-ranging and include but are not limited to cargo loss/damage, property damage, terminal equipment damage, demurrage, ship damage, personal injury etc.

An international shipping company is looking for a Claims Executive to join their London office.
In this role, you will get fantastic exposure by being one of the key points of contact for a wide range of shipping claims, although will primarily involve P&I and personal injury claims. This is a relatively junior position and would suit candidates who are relatively new to the maritime claims world.
You will be liaising daily with P&I Clubs and brokers, whilst also supporting the Insurance Manager with the renewals process when needed. An opportunity has arisen for an experienced P&I Claims Handler to join an IG P&I Club in their Hong Kong office,
The role will involve the processing of major claims as well as the allocation, monitory and supervision of claims work and the delegation of routine claims tasks to other members of the small, tight-knit team.
This is a middle management level role, requiring supervision of a claims team of around five people, plus individual responsibility for handling the more serious claims generated within the office. The ideal candidate will therefore have previous experience of supervising a team or and/or mentoring junior staff. There is also is the possibility to join at a managerial level for the right candidate, but candidates should be looking to progress to management level with satisfactory performances.
Candidates with existing HK working entitlement will be at an advantage, however this is not essential.
