The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the Offshore Oil and Gas Industry with some diving supervisor operational experience. A complete knowledge of underwater NDT techniques is a requirement. Experience as a Bell Diving supervisor is required along with a thorough knowledge of all aspects of diving decompression tables and diving working practices including risk assessment as required by the current UK HSE / IMCA regulations.
The candidate must possess:
• HND or equivalent technical qualification in an Engineering discipline preferably with specialised courses in Air/Saturation diving, NDT, and other work-related subjects.
• The candidate should hold AIR/SAT diving supervisory ticket.
• Excellent spoken and written English with good computer knowledge.

A market leading towage company is looking for a Marine Superintendent to join their team in the UK for their growing Southampton operation.
You will provide marine operational expertise to ensure all vessels and crew meet their safety, environmental and operational requirements. You will also be the main point of contact for the client and be able to problem solve as you will be the first point of contact for the companies client.
They are looking for someone who has familiarity with Maritime Rules, Regulations, Codes and Guidelines; ISM Code and ISPS requirement’s and class. Ideally you will have worked in a similar Superintendent’s role although they are flexible if you have the right skillset. Seagoing experience is preferred, especially if it is with small craft. but not essential.

The role involves providing a professional and reliable service to clients who are registering their vessels and completing registration transactions with the Ship Registry.
Some of the key responsibilities include preparing and compiling vessels’ documents, advising clients on registration procedures and legal requirements, scheduling and attending meetings, managing office procedures and information databases, issuing various certificates and documents, maintaining registration filing systems, liaising with other in-house departments and offices, managing the general registration inbox, and assisting with training new registration staff.
The role requires you to have an undergraduate degree, with a preference for Law or a degree combined with Law. You must have at least five years of experience working in a client-based industry, and experience working with lawyers would be useful.
You should also have knowledge of Contract Law and an appreciation of separate legal entities, which is desirable.

Within this role you will oversee and provide effective management of the expanding fleet of oil and chemical tankers. You will manage the fleet that is being managed by third part shipmanagers ensuring that all KPI’s and budgets are achieved.
Suitable candidates will have sailed as Chief Engineer on both chemical and oil tankers and have previous experience as Fleet Manager.

You will be responsible for recruitment, training and retention of staff and ensuring that the fleet is manned with experienced officers and crew. You will work with the companies agencies to ensure that vessels are maned fully with a large focus on the training and development of crew.
It is important that you can prepare budgets, manage routine administration and have sufficient knowledge within the Industry to make sure personnel conditions and remunerations levels are competitive. This position will involve worldwide travel to vessels for routine marine visits, internal audits, and assessments for oil major inspections.
