Support Supervisor - Middle East

Our client is looking for a Support Supervisor to join their team based in the Middle East.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the Offshore Oil and Gas Industry with some diving supervisor operational experience. A complete knowledge of underwater NDT techniques is a requirement. Experience as a Bell Diving supervisor is required along with a thorough knowledge of all aspects of diving decompression tables and diving working practices including risk assessment as required by the current UK HSE / IMCA regulations.

The candidate must possess:
• HND or equivalent technical qualification in an Engineering discipline preferably with specialised courses in Air/Saturation diving, NDT, and other work-related subjects.
• The candidate should hold AIR/SAT diving supervisory ticket.
• Excellent spoken and written English with good computer knowledge.

Technical Superintendent - Rotation - OSV fleet

A leading offshore service provider is looking for a Chief Engineer with extensive shorebased experience to work on a back to back contract in Africa.

The successful candidate will ideally have managed OSVs vessels in a previous role and also have experience of working in Africa.

You will coordinate all activities offshore such as administration, catering team, subcontractors offshore, and basically to the company’s eye offshore to ensure all the work and activities run smoothly.

Senior Purchasing Officer - Singapore

A shipmanagement company based in Singapore with a fleet of chemical and gas tankers is hiring a Senior Purchasing Officer.

You will be responsible for handling purchase orders from vessels, contacting suppliers for quotations and negotiating on prices. You’ll evaluate and select suppliers working closely with the Technical Management team.

A minimum of three years’ experience in the maritime industry is essential, ideally in a purchasing position.

Existing entitlement to live and work in Singapore is required for this position.

Marine Superintendent - Southampton, UK

A market leading towage company is looking for a Marine Superintendent to join their team in the UK for their growing Southampton operation.

You will provide marine operational expertise to ensure all vessels and crew meet their safety, environmental and operational requirements. You will also be the main point of contact for the client and be able to problem solve as you will be the first point of contact for the companies client.

They are looking for someone who has familiarity with Maritime Rules, Regulations, Codes and Guidelines; ISM Code and ISPS requirement’s and class. Ideally you will have worked in a similar Superintendent’s role although they are flexible if you have the right skillset. Seagoing experience is preferred, especially if it is with small craft. but not essential.

Registry Officer - London

We have partnered with a leading ship registry to help them find a Registry Officer to join their team in London.

The role involves providing a professional and reliable service to clients who are registering their vessels and completing registration transactions with the Ship Registry.

Some of the key responsibilities include preparing and compiling vessels’ documents, advising clients on registration procedures and legal requirements, scheduling and attending meetings, managing office procedures and information databases, issuing various certificates and documents, maintaining registration filing systems, liaising with other in-house departments and offices, managing the general registration inbox, and assisting with training new registration staff.

The role requires you to have an undergraduate degree, with a preference for Law or a degree combined with Law. You must have at least five years of experience working in a client-based industry, and experience working with lawyers would be useful.

You should also have knowledge of Contract Law and an appreciation of separate legal entities, which is desirable.

The role will be to identify, co-ordinate and develop the ESG corporate strategy and implement an ESG framework within the club. They would be looking for your to create and project manage appropriate work programmes with a focus on working collaboratively with staff, members and business partners to promote ESG principles.

For you to be successful in this role, you would need to have strong knowledge of ESG covering all aspects such as ESG frameworks, regulation, corporate/regulatory reporting along with a clear passion for ESG and overall sustainability.

This is an opportunity to join a Tanker Owner based in Basel, Switzerland.

They are looking to bring in a Crew Operator to join their team.

To be considered for this role, you must be able to speak German and English fluently and have at least 1 years of experience working as a Crew Operator.

Day to day you will ensure proper manning of each vessel, considering existing standards, legislations, safety, and quality, prepare the data for the various reports, stay in touch with the crew for the vessels as assigned.

You would report to the Crewing Manager.

Fleet Manager - Athens

Spinnaker Global is on the search for an experienced Fleet Manager for our client, a successful ship owner and operator based in Athens.

Within this role you will oversee and provide effective management of the expanding fleet of oil and chemical tankers. You will manage the fleet that is being managed by third part shipmanagers ensuring that all KPI’s and budgets are achieved.

Suitable candidates will have sailed as Chief Engineer on both chemical and oil tankers and have previous experience as Fleet Manager.

Crewing Manager - Athens

A growing Ship Owner is looking for a Crewing Manager to be based in their offices in the Athens to man their tanker fleet.

You will be responsible for recruitment, training and retention of staff and ensuring that the fleet is manned with experienced officers and crew. You will work with the companies agencies to ensure that vessels are maned fully with a large focus on the training and development of crew.

It is important that you can prepare budgets, manage routine administration and have sufficient knowledge within the Industry to make sure personnel conditions and remunerations levels are competitive. Other duties will include; reviewing company policy, disciplinary procedures, appraisals, complaints and that welfare standards are adhered to.

Marine and HSEQ Superintendent - Singapore

A European Headquartered ship management company is looking for a Marine and HSEQ Superintendent based in Singapore.

This position will involve worldwide travel to vessels for routine marine visits, internal audits, and assessments for oil major inspections.

To be considered, you are required to have sailing experience on tankers.

You will also have experience with OCIMF SIRE System, Safety (ISM/ISO), Quality Management Systems and Security Systems (ISPS Code).

The role is based in Singapore and as such, would require Singaporean PR as a minimum.

Fleet Manager (OSVs) - North West England

An offshore services company is looking for a Fleet Manager to manage their assets operating in Europe. They have recently acquired a long term contract as they enter the local market.

You will have sailed to Chief Engineer or to Master Mariner and have experience of managing OSVs in a shorebased role. As the company’s representative in Europe, you will be comfortable acting independently although all support will be given by the head office.
