We are working with an established ship management company that is driven by their vision to be the safe and efficient transportation provider of choice to the shipping industry. As Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing innovation and technology projects, including implementing new software and technology systems. You will work closely with internal stakeholders, such as the Finance Manager, on a number of software migration projects. Planning, developing project scope, as well as building teams of subject matter experts and project execution will fall under your responsibility. Post-implementation project follow will also be your responsibility. This company seeks an individual with IT implementation or software integration Project Management experience. Experience of internal change management will also be advantageous. They seek an individual who may have a Project Management Qualification such as APM or PRINCE2, along with familiarity with agile or waterfall project management methodologies. You may also be familiar with ITSM practices such as ITIL. You will be educated in Finance, Engineering or Computer Science. Familiarity with finance software packages and accounting principles will be advantageous. Knowledge of Oracle would be highly beneficial. Experience within the maritime industry or with a ship manager is not essential but would be an added advantage. Existing entitlement to live and work in Singapore is required for this position.

Chartering, Operations Executive (Dry Bulk), Singapore

Dry Operator, Singapore

One of the world leaders in the dry bulk market is currently looking for an experienced Operations professional to join their department in Singapore.

This role would suit a person with dry bulk operations experience (capesize or panamax vessels experience preferred but not essential).
The ideal candidate will come from an established dry bulk company and will be able to demonstrate a track record of success over at least two years.

The role will have a focus on smooth operating of the companies owned and operated vessels by performing hire/bunker/port payments, provide master/agents with instructions, invoice customers, carry out laytime calculations, keep track on vessel positions, deal with issues arising during the voyage, arrange stow plans etc.

The ideal candidate should speak mandarin and have recent work experience gained in Singapore.

Bunker Operator, Singapore

Spinnaker is working with a leading client in the shipping industry who are looking to recruit a Bunker Operator to be based in Singapore.

The responsibilities for this role are:

Liaise with Operation manager/Superintendent and vessel for bunker quantity requirement and if rework of estimation is required, to follow up till an acceptable quantity is determined.
Internally liaise with Operation manager/Superintendents for bunker quantity requirement and Technical Department on port locations that are able to meet the vessel’s bunker specifications.
Source for right quotation/price, evaluate and confirm supplier with endorsement from Commercial Department on the bunker price.
To be successful for this role the right candidate will have:

Diploma holder or it’s equivalent
2 years relevant working experience supporting bunker procurement (including LNG) and preferably 1 year of sailing stint onboard vessel
Basic IT knowledge, e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel, Email
Good communication skills – spoken and written English

Customer Support Specialist - Maritime ERP, Singapore
