FACEBOOK aside (now at the ripe old age of five), does anyone actually use social networking sites like Plaxo and Linked In? Or, is it the case, as I suspect, that for most people social networking simply means accepting ‘invitations’ to connect before returning to their overflowing inboxes?
If this makes me sound like a grumpy old man, please forgive me. I am all for the benefits promised by social networking; it’s just that I haven’t actually been able to find a ‘real person’ who can lay claim to having extracted some value from this promising fruit. Go on, tell us what you think.
