EXPOSURE GUIDELINES

WORRIED about your exposure to hazardous chemicals on ships? The Oil Companies International Marine Forum has now issued new guidelines which enable crew members to be tested for signs of harmful chemicals including benzene.

Just in case you thought vetting was about inspecting ships, OCIMF has revised its SIRE questionnaire to include inspectors using urine samples to detect the presence of harmful substances including benzene which has carcinogenic properties.
