Glassdoor, which advises people on interview techniques and the like, has compiled a list of the most bizarre questions asked at interviews last year.
Top ranking was given to the question: "if you were shrunk to the size of a pencil and trapped in a blender, how would you get out?"
Other examples were: "Rate on a scale of 1 to 10 how weird you are?", "How many traffic lights are in Manhattan?", "How are M&Ms made?", "What would you do if you inherited a pizzeria from your uncle?"
Blimey, interviews are not easy.
One of us well remembers going for an interview and being asked to predict the future of the pound over the next six months. She rashly tried to answer the question rather than saying "if I knew that I wouldn't need to apply for this job".
