Spinnaker´s own Teresa Peacock will be speaking at the WISTA conference in Stockholm in September on effective recruitment in shipping.
The annual event will be taking place from September 14-16 and the keynote speaker will be Efthimios Mitropoulos, Secretary General of the IMO. The theme for his presentation is "Global development: New world map placing new demands on leadership". The Secretary General´s speech will be followed by a panel discussion: "Managing the shift: a challenge for shipping".
The WISTA conference is always very well attended and being run by women is always supremely well organised with lovely food and very clean confernence tables.
