Department for Transport team racing for charity

It’s going to be the finale of London International Shipping Week 2017 and wow, what a party! We are delighted with the interest for September’s Dragon Boat Race raising money for Great Ormond Street’s OSCAR Campaign.

The most recent team to join up is the Department for Transport, a first for the Dragon Boat Race.

“The Department for Transport looks forward to participating in the fourth annual OSCAR Dragon Boat Race to support Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) and the work they are doing to help advance pioneering medical treatment for children around the world.

London International Shipping Week 2017 highlights the UK’s unique reputation as a modern maritime centre, with world-leading professional maritime services. We are delighted to join forces with the global shipping industry to support children’s health and research.” – John Hayes, Transport Minister.
