Some 55 companies – shipowners, managers, oil companies and commodity groups – are taking part in the Maritime HR Forum’s 2012 global shipping salary survey, which surveys 47 shipping jobs around the world. Reporting by country and by region on base salary, bonuses and total compensation, the Maritime HR Forum, which was established in 2005, has quickly become the most authoritative source of shipping industry shore-side salary data.
