UK PAY FAILS TO KEEP PACE

UNIONS say that salaries in the UK have not kept pace with economic growth in the last 30 years. The average full-time worker (whatever that is) in the UK earns around £26,000 a year. Apparently, if wages had grown in line with economic growth, and the gap between the haves and the have-nots had not widened, that figure would be £33,000.
