EVERY five years, PYNDA, the shipping alumni from Plymouth University, hold a rather impressive conference. This year they will be holding their 40th anniversary conference in London at the IMO on 26th April.
The organizers are finalizing the conference programme next week. 10 years ago they held the first and the biggest shipping dot com conference; 5 years ago they asked who gives a ship about shipping’s image. This year, they are keen again to alight upon the most interesting current topics in shipping and not just do ‘yet another conference about the same old things’.
