The International Festival of Business is descending upon Liverpool this summer, with a broad range of events including many on maritime issues.
The events include a breakfast on board a tall ship, courses for marine surveyors and on bunkering, a ports conference from UKTI, a close-up on Liverpool's port, an introduction to shipping, and the bit we're most excited about is the Women's International Shipping & Trading Association (WISTA) event on women in shipping featuring our very own Teresa Peacock, who is also Membership Secretary of WISTA.
The festival in general runs across 7 weeks in June and July and is a chance for businesses to meet, network and develop – all in the culturally rich (and of course closely maritime linked) Liverpool.
