Everyone knows that Freemasons give each other a special handshake but what does your handshake say about you? Are you the type who gives a bone crushing handshake leaving the recipient wincing? Do you have to wipe your hand on your sleeve so you don’t present a clammy palm?
Bone crushing apart – you might just be a bully – a strong handshake denotes confidence and a limp one quite the reverse. According to one recent survey, a prospective employer will be more interested in the quality of the handshake than he or she would be with body piercing. Don’t take that as licence to overdo the body piercing though! A two-handed handshake may be considered to denote affection but is probably not a good idea when meeting your prospective employer for the first time.
