South East England – Technical Manager role

The South East of the UK is of course to home to London, but outside of the capital city, shipping thrives in other places too. For example for us here at Spinnaker, at the mouth of where the River Thames meets the sea, we're in a brilliant position to see shipping life go by our very windows.

With our Thames Estuary views, we see huge container ships and tankers go past every day, on their way to Tilbury Docks, Purfleet, or Dagenham perhaps. It gives real context to the work we do on a global scale; particularly when we witnessed the huge cranes that recently came all the way from China, past our office on the way to London Gateway

We often have roles within the South East that aren't in the hustle and bustle of London – which can be of great appeal to some – and we're working on a particular job at the moment for a Group Technical Manager that has exciting opportunities for international travel, to work for one of the world's leading technical shipping companies.

You'll be leading the head office, which supports technical and engineering functions worldwide, contributing to the business strategy, management, and the direction of the business, which is an exciting prospect for a senior technical professional.

You'll be open to working and travelling internationally, jetting across the globe to showcase your excellent leadership skills. The company requires that applicants have bulk commodities experience, and ship-to-shore gantry cranes experience. You'll be a proven leader, with cultural sensitivity and a mechanical engineering degree.

Does this sound like it's perfect for you? If not, and you refer a friend, you could earn a £400 referral bonus.
