Seafarers UK 24 Peaks Challenge

Seafarers UK is delighted to announce that the charity’s 24 Peaks Challenge will be taking place on the weekend of 11-12 July 2015 – and you are invited to join in the corporate challenge of the year!

The 24 Peaks Challenge is one of the most demanding and rewarding team-building events in the UK. The challenge is to climb 24 Lake District peaks, all over 2,400 feet, in 24 hours. The course is 50 miles long and includes Scafell Pike, the highest peak in England. Over two days teams will take in some of the most stunning countryside in Cumbria, including rivers, moorland, farms and forest.

Next year Seafarers UK is inviting 20 teams to lace up their hiking boots and take on the challenge. The team with the highest fundraising total will be awarded the prestigious 24 Peaks Challenge Trophy. Your team should consist of five walkers plus one non-walker who will act as your support crew. All participants will need to be physically fit – but more than that they will need determination, self-belief and team spirit to get them to the finish line.

The 24 Peaks Challenge raises funds to support seafarers in need and their families. Next year Seafarers UK wants to go that extra mile and reach the £100,000 mark – but that won’t be possible without your help. Registration is now open for 2015 and the first teams to sign up will be the first to start their climb on the day – so please sign up now!

To request a registration form or if have any questions please contact Hannah Scopp at Seafarers UK, email [email protected] or phone 020 7932 0000.
