International maritime charity Sailors' Society is hosting its fourth bi-annual Geneva Shipping Ball at the InterContinental Hotel nr. Lake Geneva on Friday 14th November.
One of the most prestigious events in the 2014 shipping calendar, the Geneva Shipping Ball has been running since 2008, with all proceeds going directly to Sailors' Society. This year the evening will take the theme of A Night in Atlantis and feature a stunning underwater dining room, four course meal, auction, raffle and live band.
The evening has historically attracted some of the biggest names in shipping: Aspida now join Cargill as this year's headline sponsors, while Ifchor will sponsor the champagne reception. Other sponsorship has been provided by ICAP, World Fuel Services and TradeWinds.
For one night only, in this beautiful setting, nestled between the Alps and Lake Geneva, guests are invited on a journey to the Lost City of Atlantis for an evening of fun and fantasy, to funds for seafarers’ welfare all over the world.
