On 6-7 June, shipping HR professionals and representatives from our 60 shipping company members of the Maritime HR Forum will gather for our 2-day annual conference and discuss the matters that are important in maritime HR.
The meeting will cover a wide range of HR issues, from shipmanagement staffing structures and staff relationship mediation to the importance of leadership training and how to attract youngsters to both seagoing and shore-based careers.
We'll also be talking about comparative costs in various localities, managing risk (and the cost of when things go wrong) and bonus structures and schemes.
We like to mix up the format of these conferences with panel discussions, guest speakers, workshops and case studies. It's a really comprehensive look at the current world of maritime HR, and we’re proud of how successful both the Forum and the AGMs have become.
