Director of Technology – Maritime Technology

Location: Cyprus (Relocation Support Available)

A growing maritime technology business is seeking a Director of Technology to lead engineering delivery, platform development, and technology operations across a modern digital product environment.
 
This is a hands-on leadership role focused on scaling engineering capability, driving platform delivery, managing offshore development teams, and leading the transition away from legacy systems.
 
Working directly with executive leadership, you will oversee architecture, engineering, DevOps, platform governance, and product delivery across a multi-disciplinary technology organisation.
 
Key Requirements

• Strong software engineering and technology leadership background
• Experience leading Agile/DevOps product delivery teams
• Knowledge of cloud architecture, APIs, microservices, and modern engineering practices
• Experience managing offshore or nearshore development teams
• Strong understanding of low-code / no-code delivery environments, ideally with exposure to platforms such as Mendix or OutSystems
• Ability to establish engineering standards and delivery governance within low-code product environments
• Ability to operate across both strategic leadership and hands-on delivery
• Maritime industry experience is beneficial but not essential
