Shipping & Commodities Associate / Senior Associate – London

A dynamic international law firm is seeking a talented Shipping and Commodities Associate or Senior Associate (UK Qualified) to join its expanding London team. With deep roots in the shipping and international trade sectors, this firm offers high-quality litigation and arbitration work on behalf of major global clients across Europe and beyond.
 
This firm has built a strong reputation for delivering expert legal advice in complex cross-border shipping and commodities disputes. The firm has experienced continued growth and now seeks a skilled associate to play a key role in its development. The team handles a diverse caseload involving:

• Charterparty disputes
• Cargo claims and Bills of Lading
• Casualties, including groundings and sinkings
• Shipbuilding and sale contract disputes
• Commodities litigation (including soft and hard bulk cargoes such as grain, cement, iron ore, and liquids)

The firm primarily acts for shipowners, charterers, commodity traders, and P&I clubs, with disputes typically resolved through international arbitration or High Court litigation.
