Chief Financial Officer – Papua New Guinea (PNG)

A senior finance appointment within a large, complex logistics and shipping operation operating across multiple locations and asset-heavy environments.
 

This role sits on the divisional leadership team, partnering closely with senior stakeholders to drive performance, capital discipline and long-term value.
 
With a planned transition ahead, there is scope to shape direction and support a significant period of transformation.

The position blends strategic influence with hands-on leadership of a lean, high-impact finance team.

• Lead all divisional finance, reporting, governance and controls
• Partner the leadership team on strategy, investment and growth
• Drive performance through planning, analysis and KPI management

Oversight includes capital allocation, major investment decisions, and financial risk management, alongside improving systems, reporting and data visibility.
 
The role also carries responsibility for developing capability within a small team and strengthening business partnering across operations.

Key requirements:

• Extensive senior finance leadership within logistics, shipping or transport
• Track record managing multi-site or asset-heavy operations
• Strong experience in investment governance, IFRS and financial control
