Location: Limassol, Cyprus (Relocation Support Available)
Working Pattern: Primarily Onsite (80–100%)

We’re partnering with a growing, technology-led business to appoint a Director of Technology who will play a key role in shaping the company’s next phase of growth.

Reporting directly to the CEO, you’ll lead a multidisciplinary technology function, driving engineering excellence, technology strategy and platform delivery. This is an opportunity to influence the direction of a modern software business, leading high-performing teams while helping scale both the technology function and the organisation as a whole.

This is not a traditional IT leadership role. We’re looking for someone who has progressed from a software engineering background into senior technology leadership and has a proven track record of delivering complex technology programmes, modernising platforms, and building high-performing engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a growing engineering organisation across multiple technical disciplines.
• Drive engineering best practices, software delivery and architectural governance.
• Lead the evolution of modern cloud-based platforms while supporting legacy transformation initiatives.
• Improve engineering processes, delivery capability and technical standards.
• Partner closely with Product and executive leadership to translate business objectives into successful technology outcomes.
• Coach and develop engineering leaders, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.

About You You’ll likely bring:

• A background in software engineering before progressing into senior technology leadership.
• Experience leading engineering organisations within SaaS, software or technology-led businesses.
• Strong knowledge of modern software architecture, cloud technologies, APIs and distributed systems.
• Experience managing distributed or offshore engineering teams.
• A hands-on leadership style, balancing strategic thinking with operational delivery.
• Excellent communication skills and the confidence to engage with both technical teams and executive stakeholders.

Experience within maritime, logistics, industrial technology or another complex operational environment would be advantageous but is not essential.
