Are you an experienced HSE professional looking to join a global organisation where you can make a genuine impact on safety across multiple countries?

We are recruiting for an HSE Advisor to support operations across the South Asia and Australia region. This is an excellent opportunity to work within an international environment, partnering with operational and commercial teams to strengthen safety culture, improve HSE performance and ensure compliance with international standards.

The Role

Reporting into the regional HSE function, you will provide specialist health, safety and environmental advice to minimise operational risk while supporting the continued development of a proactive safety culture.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the implementation and continual improvement of the organisation’s HSE management system.
  • Advising operational teams on hazard identification, risk assessments and appropriate control measures.
  • Assisting with the development and implementation of HSE processes, procedures and risk management frameworks.
  • Conducting HSE audits, inspections and monitoring activities to ensure compliance with internal standards, legislation and industry best practice.
  • Coaching and mentoring operational leaders to strengthen HSE leadership across the business.
  • Supporting investigations into incidents and near misses, identifying root causes and ensuring corrective actions are implemented.
  • Analysing HSE performance data to identify trends and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders, regulators and external industry bodies.
  • Supporting incident response activities and ensuring HSE considerations remain central during critical events.
  • Ensuring compliance with recognised management systems including ISO 45001 and ISO 14001.

About You

We’re looking for an HSE professional who is confident working across multiple countries and cultures, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of an organisation.

You’ll ideally have:

  • Experience within Health, Safety & Environment in a high-risk industry such as marine, offshore, oil & gas, energy, construction, manufacturing or heavy engineering.
  • Practical experience carrying out risk assessments, incident investigations, audits and compliance activities.
  • Experience supporting HSE management systems and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
  • A degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant discipline.
  • Membership of a recognised HSE professional body (or working towards chartered/certified status), such as IOSH or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge of HSE legislation, risk management principles and international standards.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • The ability to work independently whilst managing multiple priorities across a regional remit.
  • Fluent written and spoken English.
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office.

If you’re passionate about improving workplace safety and want to play a key role in shaping HSE performance across an international business, we’d love to hear from you.
