An international marine fuel trading company is seeking a Bunker Trader to establish a regional presence — shaping a client base, trading approach, and eventually a local team, backed by an international trading network and risk management systems.

The business has built its reputation through strong client relationships and reliable execution, supplying bunker fuels, lubricants, and related services to vessels worldwide.

Responsibilities

• Launch and grow a new trading desk in the region
• Build and manage a personal portfolio of shipowners, operators, and charterers
• Own the full trade cycle: origination, negotiation, execution, post-fixture, delivery, payment
• Track markets, pricing, and supply chains across the region
• Liaise with other offices on inquiries and supply coordination
• Contribute to shaping local commercial strategy and future team growth

What We’re Looking For

• Solid bunker trading experience, ideally with a transferable client portfolio
• Strong network connections within the regional marine fuel market
• Fluent Mandarin and English
• Proven ability to manage the full trading cycle independently
• Entrepreneurial mindset — motivated to build rather than simply operate
