Crewing Superintendent – Offshore / CSOV Limassol, Cyprus | Candidates across Europe considered

We’re recruiting a Crewing Superintendent to join an established international ship management business, supporting its fleet of Commissioning Service Operation Vessels (CSOVs).

The preferred location is Limassol, Cyprus, with relocation support available. Candidates based elsewhere in Europe are also encouraged to apply, with alternative office locations considered on a case-by-case basis.

The role

Reporting to the Senior Crew Manager, you’ll help ensure vessels are staffed with suitably qualified and experienced crew, coordinating crewing requirements and supporting safe, efficient operations.

Working closely with crewing operators, administrative colleagues, vessel teams and clients, your responsibilities will include:

  • Planning crew rotations and coordinating crew changes, travel and visa arrangements.
  • Ensuring crew hold the required qualifications, training, medical certificates and employment documentation.
  • Supporting recruitment, monitoring crew performance and identifying training and career development needs.
  • Monitoring crewing costs against vessel budgets and reviewing related expenses.
  • Maintaining accurate crew records and ensuring compliance with company procedures and relevant maritime requirements.
  • Responding to crew welfare matters, sickness, accidents and operational issues.
  • Investigating complaints and supporting improvements to crewing processes.

About you

Experience working with CSOV crews is essential, with a strong preference for candidates who have managed crewing activities ashore.

Ideally, you’ll bring at least three years of relevant experience, although candidates with a shorter track record and directly relevant CSOV experience will also be considered.

You’ll also bring:

  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage changing priorities.
  • Good English communication skills and confidence working with crew, colleagues and clients.
  • A proactive, practical approach to resolving problems.
  • A customer-focused mindset and close attention to detail.

Previous seagoing experience as an officer would be an advantage, as would experience in crew planning and coordinating crew changes.
