We are recruiting a Senior HR Executive on behalf of an established international ship management business. This is an opportunity for an experienced HR generalist to take ownership of day-to-day HR operations, supporting approximately 130 office-based employees in Singapore.
 
Working closely with the Regional HR Manager and a wider global HR team, you will combine hands-on HR delivery with employee engagement and process improvement. The role would suit someone who enjoys a varied workload, takes initiative and can confidently support a multicultural workforce.
 
The role

• Manage employee lifecycle activities, including preboarding, onboarding, employee changes and offboarding.
• Provide guidance on employee relations, company policies and Singapore employment requirements.
• Handle Employment Pass and S Pass applications, renewals and associated administration.
• Maintain accurate employee records, HR systems and documentation, supporting audits and statutory reporting.
• Support compensation and benefits administration, including payroll, tax declarations and insurance matters.
• Organise employee engagement activities, festive celebrations, company dinners and client events.
• Contribute to global HR initiatives, process improvements and employee experience projects.

About you
 
You will bring at least five years of hands-on HR generalist experience, including experience supporting a white-collar workforce of at least 100 employees. Maritime experience is not required.
 
You will also have:

• A degree in any discipline.
• Strong working knowledge of Singapore employment legislation and MOM requirements.
• Excellent organisation, attention to detail and follow-through.
• The confidence to exercise independent judgement, manage competing priorities and take ownership of your work.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships across different cultures and levels of seniority.
• A proactive approach to employee engagement, with the ability to plan and deliver events independently.
• Experience with work pass administration is strongly preferred.
• Payroll and SAP SuccessFactors experience would also be advantageous.
• Candidates with strong generalist foundations and a clear ability to learn are encouraged to apply, even if they have not covered every area of HR.
