Charitable foundations seem to do well by their employees, at least so it would seem from one out-of-office message we received.

The person we contacted was not expected back in the office until 31st December – not a bad holiday entitlement – but kindly indicated the name of a colleague if the matter was urgent. 

Deciding to strike while the iron was still lukewarm, we called the colleague!
