Deputy General Manager, Athens
A leadership position responsible for supporting the General Manager with local and regional marketing, business development and service delivery of the Greek office of this international registry.

You will assist the General Manager developing and implementing the comprehensive business strategy and marketing plan for Greece.
This position will assist in realising the business growth strategy, interfacing with current and potential clients within the Greek maritime market, as well as dealing with issues that arise.
The nature of this role – providing exceptional service; will require you to attend to urgent requests which could often be at the weekend, or out of hours and often under pressure to find a solution.
You’ll have expereince in the industry in a management level position, combined with business development and sales skills to support the General Manager in Greece as well as providing support to other regional offices as required.
You’ll be a people person, able to interact with senior leaders, CEO, MDs of Greek shipowning organisations., focusing on providing an exceptional service, to ensure client satisfaction and growth of the registry.
Using your knowledge of maritime you will be able to discuss all matters and issues facing the industry, from regulatory compliance, Flag State administration, and maritime manning, finding solutions to client’s problems with your own knowledge, or knowing someone who can.
You’ll be able to demonstrate previous examples and outcomes of your solution-oriented approach, where you have worked under stress, and always maintained your integrity.
You’re expereince will be strong in marketing and business development, including negotiation and client relation experience.
You’ll be able to demonstrate your ability to be flexible, understanding on others needs and build reputation based on service, trust, and reliability.
Fluency in English and Greek.
Expereince in Business Development and Marketing.
Knowledge and expereince of current maritime issues including regulatory compliance, Flag State administration, and maritime manning.
