Marine Superintendent, Greece

You will need to have a minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar position with seagoing service on bulk carriers at Chief Officer level of above.

The role requires close monitoring of the deck/hull condition of a fleet of vessels, the implementation of Company’s SMS especially regarding safety, environmental compliance, navigation, cargo and mooring operations, conducting and follow up on Incident Investigations, Navigational/Internal Audits, Near Misses, Safety Committee Meetings, etc, preparing vessels for External Audits and inspections and providing training to crew during shipboard attendances in his areas of responsibilities while providing Operations dept with Marine expertise as/where required.

You will need to be prepared to travel, have excellent command of the English language and communication skills, computer literacy, honesty, team spirit and ability to observe deadlines are essential.

Project Manager ,Singapore

We are working with an established ship management company that is driven by their vision to be the safe and efficient transportation provider of choice to the shipping industry.

As Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing innovation and technology projects, including implementing new software and technology systems.

You will work closely with internal stakeholders, such as the Finance Manager, on a number of software migration projects. Planning, developing project scope, as well as building teams of subject matter experts and project execution will fall under your responsibility. Post-implementation project follow will also be your responsibility.

This company seeks an individual with IT implementation or software integration Project Management experience. Experience of internal change management will also be advantageous. They seek an individual who may have a Project Management Qualification such as APM or PRINCE2, along with familiarity with agile or waterfall project management methodologies. You may also be familiar with ITSM practices such as ITIL.

You will be educated in Finance, Engineering or Computer Science. Familiarity with finance software packages and accounting principles will be advantageous. Knowledge of Oracle would be highly beneficial.

Experience within the maritime industry or with a ship manager is not essential but would be an added advantage.

Existing entitlement to live and work in Singapore is required for this position.
