Using your remote management capabilities, alongside your knowledge and contacts in the maritime in the industry, you will drive growth specifically within The Americas and Asia Pacific.
In depth knowledge of our client’s products is not required. However, you will need to demonstrate you have a good understanding of the development of marine environmental technology. This will allow you to fully understand the product and assist your remote sales team.
We seek individuals who can demonstrate, through previous success, that they know how to remotely lead, motivate, assist and challenge business development managers to succeed in their goals. You will be able to put together regional strategies as well as develop business.
You will be able to demonstrate your knowledge of how to sell to shipyards and owners alike for both new builds and retrofit vessels.
This role will require extensive international travel in The Americas and Asia Pacific for both team management, and client visits.

We are really excited to be partnering with one of our global clients to find a Procurement & Logistics Officer for a Ship-owner for their London office.
This role will be to source high-quality spares and parts in the most cost and time effective manner for the fleet.
Ideal experience would be at a graduate level with an academic background containing procurement, supply chain management and finance.
Previous experience in a similar procurement or technical position within shipping would be ideal. Using Complex ERP systems such as SAP is essential.

We are currently working with a growing ship brokerage who are on the lookout for an experienced Dry Cargo Broker to join their team.
This role would be ideal for someone with a Handy/ Supramax following that has ten plus years experience and can bring business with them. It would ideally suit someone working within a larger setup that wants to join a smaller setup and have ore autonomy and a less restrictive work environment.
You will be joining a team of 5 experience Dry Brokers that work very closely as a team and this role can be based out of London or Hamburg. However if the right candidate is based in another European location this would not be a stumbling block and are open to the idea of a strong Broker working remotely.

We are seeking a Financial Planning & Reporting Manager for a major LNG shipping company based in the Middle East.
In this role, you will manage all financial planning and reporting activities which will include the development of financial models, report infrastructure and financial planning processes. This role will also provide critical analysis to the senior management creating impact and insight to the organizations and associated joint ventures’ strategies.
You will be responsible for leading the budgeting process and preparing financial statements which will include developing the budgeting templates and deadlines.
This role will include the review of submitted budgets, and the analysis of previous budgets. You will address audit queries and lead the process of month end and balance reconciliation.
You will work with the senior management team to look at matters of cost reduction and profit improvement by providing your recommendations.
Therefore, your role will see you implement and managing financial systems to achieve the company’s visions, goals and strategy.

In this role, you will Manage and handle all Tax services related activities for the organisation and its joint venture companies.
You will be responsible for independently managing and handling all Tax related activities and matters ensuring full compliance with local and international Tax requirements.
This will include processing of VAT returns, withholding Tax, submitting income tax returns as well as Tax filing and keeping up to date with developments in Tax legislation and regulations.

Our client, a major international ship owner/ manager in the container market is currently looking to recruit an experienced Commercial Manager to join their European team. This person can be based out of Germany, Denmark or Switzerland.
This is a unique position and the main focus will be on commercial management so whilst our client requires someone with the core knowledge of charter partys/ post fixtures the role will suit someone very business-minded and strategic that is able to work closely with the VP of Business Development.
The objective will be to identify concerns and common trends and work with customers to develop cost saving solutions. Therefore, this role will be best suited to someone that is very customer focused and would be expected to spend considerable time working with key customers in order to improve service offering and someone that keen to proactively contribute to the commercial offering.
Ideally this person will have a good grounding in container post fixture work but on top of this you will need to demonstrate that you have commercial acumen and have strong key account management. This could also suit someone with a bulk background with the main emphasis of this hire being finding someone with the right mindset and the willingness to improve service delivery.

Our client are an Owner/ Operator in the drybulk market and are currently looking to hire an experienced Freight Trader to be based in their office in Switzerland.
You would be joining a small but highly experienced chartering team that are highly skilled in what they do. They are very much team players and would expect this hire to come in with the same mentality.
The ideal candidate for this role will be Charterer/ Freight Trader with 15-20 years of experience in this field than can bring their own business with them. This will particularly suit someone that has a well rounded view of the Atlantic trade but someone that can also specialise in one or two particular business areas.
All of their Charterers are proper ‘Traders’ sourcing both tonnage and cargo so our expectation would be that this role would particularly suit someone that has already worked within a small to mid sized Owner/ Operator with strong entrepreneurial traits.
It will be essential that this person has focused on the Atlantic market within Handys/Supramax. Our client is also open to relocating the right person and are quite open in terms of salary with this being all about finding the right person for the challenge.

Spinnaker Global are currently working on the opportunity to be a Fleet Manager with a reputable shipping company based in the Middle East.
Within this role you will be responsible for the safe and efficient running of all LNG vessels. This will include regular inspections, planning for all dry-docking and repairs and managing all H&M and P&I claims. You will also be accountable for formulating and implementing operational and technical procedures, managing all staff, handling budgets and ensuring QHSE compliance.
Suitable candidates should have relevant experience at Fleet Manager level, have sailed as a Chief Engineer on-board LNG vessels, and have vast shore-based experience with these vessel types.

– Key member of the Company’s in-house Bunker desk
– Responsible for monitoring and reporting on the quality/quantity of bunkers procured, and providing technical / commercial assistance to the bunker trading team
– Assist in managing contract Nomination and spot bunkering
– Identify and evaluate key parameters and establish benchmarking in order to provide a grading on the quality of bunkers procured, and in order to manage a rating system for the bunker suppliers
– The above to also focus on establishing bunker quality vis-à-vis environmental friendliness and energy optimization
– Involved in and oversee the BQS for bunkering operations globally along with optimisation team
– Manage Bunker quality and quantity claims (including that established via BQS) raised between Buyers and Sellers, and follow-up to ensure swift and smooth resolution
– Involved in establishing bunker vigilance procedures for prevention of bunker fuel pilferage
– Meet both customer and supplier requirements and establish great relationships within the industry
