Spinnaker is currently partnered with a growing dry bulk owner/operator in Greece who is looking to recruit an experienced Dry Bulk Operator.
The key responsibilities for this role are:
· Responsible for ensuring the vessel’s voyage is performed efficiently and ensuring costs are kept to a minimum;
· calculating and preparing hire statements;
· arranging and managing any advance payments from charterers and final settlements when the voyage is complete;
· being in charge of a vessel or fleet and be involved with tasks such as post fixture, bunker intakes and agency appointments;
· liaising with insurers and P&I.
The perfect candidate would have 5+ years of commercial operations experience within a similar set-up, be fluent in both Greek and English and be based in Athens.

Spinnaker is currently recruiting for a Technical Superintendent to work with a client of ours, a globally renowned shipping company based in Denmark.
Within this role, you will be directly responsible for 3-5 tanker vessels and will report directly to the Technical Director.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Managing all technical matters for the vessels (budgets, preparations for inspections, etc.);
• ensure all vessels comply with rules and regulations and have up to date certifications;
• manage all repairs and planned maintenance processes;
• collaborating with stakeholders.
Suitable candidates should have:
• Experience working as a Technical Superintendent;
• background in Marine Engineering or Naval Architecture;
• the ability to speak/write both English and Danish fluently.

This role will involve reviewing of contracts, including non-poolable agreements, legal contracts and standard insurance contracts.

Spinnaker is working with a world-leading ship owner who is looking to recruit an Operations Superintendent to be based in Singapore.
The ideal candidate for this role will be someone who has experience with LPG, Tankers or Chemical and it is essential that you have sailed as a Chief Mate.
You will advise and assist the Master in the preparation for terminal inspections, support the Chartering with all pre and post-fixture operations and monitor vessel progress during voyages.
You will ensure there is sufficient bunker to perform voyages and arrange de-slopping if required. You will be responsible for ensuring the vessel is ready to load the nominated cargo, time-chartered vessels comply with requirements and warranties and arrange weather routing advice as necessary.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and compliance of a fleet of offshore support DP2 vessels. You will monitor vessels performance offshore and assist crews in meeting the required standard.

Your key tasks will involve planning bunkering, liaising with the vessel & port agents, providing voyage instructions and preparing relevant cargo documentation.
Ideally, you will have experience with a diverse range of dry cargoes and vessel sizes and understanding the related risks, possess a good understanding of charter parties in order to take responsibility for all commercial, operational and post-fixture matters.
The ideal candidate should have 3 to 4 years’ experience operating dry bulk vessels and be confident in their abilities.
