Nominations to & resolving disputes between Customers, Charterers and Owners.
Hire, freight, laytime and voyage results calculations.
Placement of bunker orders and operational claims handling.
Optimising voyage profit through calculations of scheduling scenarios
Liaise with accounts for payments

Seeking to hire an experienced Credit Risk Analyst to join them in their London office. This role will see you focus on the Greek market, and some exposure here is required to be considered for this position.
This role will see you conducting market research, market and financial analysis, preparation of profile reports and counterparty risk assessment services.
To be successful you will have excellent communication skills, the ability to interpret and analyse detailed information, and present it in clear, concisely-written English. You will be business-focused with a strong commercial understanding.

The successful candidate will lead on a portfolio of Clients and be their point of contact for all claims presented under the terms of P&I insurance. The role will involve handling and resolving complex claims and offers the opportunity to handle diverse and challenging P&I matters across a variety of Owned and Chartered Vessel sizes and types.
To be considered for this role, you will need to have previous experience of working within a P&I environment (mutual or fixed premium) or alternatively experience working for a commercial operator in a P&I claims handling environment.

Spinnaker is currently partnered with a leading dry bulk owner/operator in Greece who are looking to recruit an experienced Dry Bulk Operator.
Key responsibilities for this role are as follows:
· Responsible for ensuring the vessel’s voyage is performed efficiently and ensuring costs are kept to a minimum.
· Calculating and preparing hire statements
· Arrange and manage any advance payments from charterers and final settlements when the voyage is complete.
· In charge of a vessel or fleet of vessels and involved with tasks such as post fixture, bunker intakes and agency appointments.
· Liaising with insurers and P&I
The perfect candidate would have 3+ years’ commercial operations experience within a similar set-up. You will be fluent in both Greek and English and be based in Athens.

Our client is an international Operator in the bulk market with a fleet of handys-PMX. They are currently looking to hire a Senior Operations Manager for their Copenhagen office which will head up their Atlantic Operations team.
In this role you will be responsible for handling time and voyage charter operations of handys-PMX and will be the main point of contact for all operational matters from their office in Copenhagen

Spinnaker is seeking a Senior Operations Manager to be based in Houston USA, with a worldwide leading operator of dry bulk vessels. This role will head up their Atlantic Operations team so would be ideal for a Senior Operator looking to step into a leadership role or someone currently overseeing a small team.
Your key tasks will involve planning bunkering, liaising with the vessel & port agents, providing voyage instructions and preparing relevant cargo documentation.
Ideally, you will have experience with a diverse range of dry cargoes and vessel sizes and understanding the related risks, possess a good understanding of charter parties in order to take responsibility for all commercial, operational and post-fixture matters.
The ideal candidate should have 5+ years’ experience operating dry bulk vessels and be confident in their abilities.

A leading Registry is looking for a Senior Technical Advisor for their London office. The successful applicant will work closely with the Registry’s clients to provide assistance on technical matters including dispensation where required.
As a Senior Technical Advisor your main responsibilities will be to provide guidance to ship owners, managers, recognised organisations, other departments in the administration, and other relevant government agencies. You will also manage inspections, conduct technical reviews and represent the Flag State at various meetings when needed.
To be successful in your application, you will have a wide knowledge of the International Maritime Conventions and Codes; you will either have seagoing experience at a senior level or surveying experience within an IACS Classification society. You must also hold, or have held seagoing qualifications to STCW II/2 and preferably have experience as a Master, Chief Engineer, or Naval Architect.
