Dry Vessel Operator – Singapore

You will play a pivotal role in managing the day-to-day commercial operations of time-chartered vessels and ensuring the requirements of the Charter Parties are fulfilled. This role requires close co-operation with various departments including but not limited to Chartering, Marine, Legal and Insurance and etc.

  • Managing and ensuring that the voyages are performed in a compliance with the relevant contracts with due consideration to the commercial strategy. Being responsible for maximising profit for each voyage.
  • Maintaining close communication with all stakeholders of the voyage, including charterers, ship masters, customers, brokers and etc.

The Team Secretary will be highly motivated, talented and strive under pressure. Responsibilities will include supporting staff in multiple departments, ensuring diary management, travel (including visa applications) and administration needs are all catered for. They will also support the Global Administration Manager and be part of the wider team across different regions. The ideal candidate should have 5 to 10 years’ experience in a similar roles with a tenure of 3 to 5 years at any one company preferred. We are looking for somebody with an efficient mindset offering and receiving clear, concise instructions, able to manage several tasks, process driven with a focus on end date completions.
  
The ideal candidate will have worked in a similar position for circa 10 years and have excellent experience covering Diary Management, Organizing Travel arrangements, Calendar Planning and Proficient IT skills.
