The role will be accountable for the monitoring and delivery of set estimating strategys aligned to business plans and revenue forecasts, whilst managing a team of estimating experts to perform sales, bidding and tendering processes as needed. 
 
Key Responsibilities:

  • Acting as point of accountability for the estimating team, providing guidance on quotations & biddings.
  • Review client specifications, T&C’s and check credibility. 
  • Inputting for weekly planning and cyclical processes.
  • Prepare the tenders/order review checklist to required standards – providing recommendations.
  • Ensure resource planning and leveling is completed in a structured timescale.
  • Submitting quotations, meeting client’s needs and winning business. 
  • Conduct analysis as required. 

What they need from you.. 

  • 5-years+ of experience within a Senior Estimator function within Ship Repair (LNG/LPG vessels). 
  • Demonstrated strong management experience.

With offices globally, the hire will report directly into the HR department and Managing Partner, overseeing and supporting the office in Administration, Finance and IT related functions of the business, whilst assisting in the day to day operations; coordinating and communicating with both internal and external stakeholders for a variety of tasks. 
 
Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all International travel and hotel bookings – processing travel documentation, payments, itinearies, medical and visa applications where necessary. 
  • Negotiate on rates with airlines, hotels and services for employees and business visitors where required.
  • Review all staff expenses. ensuring appropriate documents are in place before the processing of payments.
