Spinnaker is currently partnered with one of the world’s leading physical suppliers and traders of marine fuel globally as they look to appoint a new Bunker Operations Manager to head the team covering the Americas region. The role will be based in New York and will be a key leadership role within the group.
 
The core purpose of the role would be to provide leadership and strategic direction to the operations team covering terminal storage positions and nominating customers via delivering vessels and barges coordinating with agents and delivery vessels.
 
Candidates for this role should have:
– experience with blending requirements and specifications with a good understanding of economic impact of blend components
– Knowledge of ERTM systems
– Understanding of charter partys and terminal service agreements.
– Experience balancing physical positions to hedge positions daily
– 5+ years leadership experience within maritime fuel oil distribution
– Good understanding of terminal operations
– Proficiency in Spanish would be an advantage but not a perquisite for the position.
