We are currently partnered with one of the world’s leading LNG shipping groups that are going through their next phase of expansion and as a result our client is excited to be hiring for a new Senior Chartering Officer to join the existing team.
 
The core focus of this role will be to execute the chartering activities on behalf of the organization as well as identifying new business opportunities that can be capitalised on. The key with this position will be ensuring maximum utilisation of the organisations assets as well as maintaining strong business relations with owners, brokers, charterers etc..
 
This role will report into the Head of Chartering and our client is ideally looking for someone that has solid experience chartering preferably gained within the LNG market but someone from an LPG background could also be considered. Prior experience in LNG vessel Ops will also be advantageous
 
To apply for this role you should have:
 
– 5+ years in chartering within the gas market  although less years may be considered if prior operations experience.
– Bachelors degree in Business/ Economics/ Marine Engineering/ Maritime Field
– Good understanding of charter parties and the relevance of their clauses within the LNG field
