Our client is seeking a seasoned Marine Operations Specialist to ensure the safe and efficient compatibility of chartered LNG carriers with their nominated terminals. The role involves close coordination with ship owners and operators to address vessel acceptability and compatibility, safeguarding the company’s commercial and reputational interests.

The ideal candidate will bring over eight years of marine experience in oil and gas transportation, with expertise in safety, environmental standards, and quality management within the marine environment.

Candidates should possess a bachelor’s degree in Marine/Shipping along with a 1st or 2nd Class Marine Certificate (Master Mariner). A robust understanding of the commercial documentation and processes related to LNG and hydrocarbon transportation from the Charterer/Seller perspective is essential.
