Assistant Registrar – London

On behalf of a Flag Administration, we are looking an experienced Assistant Registrar to join their dynamic team in London.
  
This role offers a fantastic blend of office and remote work, with the potential for career advancement to Registrar upon successful completion of the probationary period.

Location: London (Hybrid – 1 day office/4 days remote)

Key Requirements:-

  • Right to work and live in the UK
  • Residence in London or within commuting distance
  • Excellent computer literacy
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • In-depth understanding of merchant shipping laws and registry standards
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the shipping industry and maritime legislation
  • Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and perform under pressure
  • Practical shipping experience and maritime administration background (advantageous)

Core Responsibilities:

  1. Manage accurate and efficient ship registration processes
  2. Administer registry functions, including ownership and title verification
  3. Coordinate with internal departments, Regional Registrars, and external stakeholder
  4. Handle diverse registration matters (e.g., initial registrations, transfers, mortgages
  5. Contribute to international promotion of the Registry
  6. Assist in developing Registry website content
  7. Provide training to clients and interested parties as needed
