We are currently working with an international bulk commodity trader headquartered in Dubai that is in the process of looking for a Coal Analyst to join their Market Research team.
 
Responsibilities:
• Global coal market analytics
• Participating in commercial and marketing strategies with advising on proper segmentations, segments sub-strategies and value propositions, etc.
• Prepare reporting, reference and presentation materials on the global and regional coal markets and the Company’s position in it
• Working with CRM data
• Conducting global coal market research and development of periodical reports with formulated recommendations to Traders
• Arrange for collection, systematization and analysis of data required to prepare regular and special analytical materials, reports and presentations on the local and global coal market
• Work with tasks on supply & demand balances and forecasts
• Participation in development and maintenance of Group coal market models (price forecasting for coal), to assist trading desks and market modelling team
• Participation in connecting and processing data from external sources for use in models and in data science
• Provide advisory and methodological support to marketing initiatives in other commodities if needed
• Benchmarking and relevant analytics on prices
• Provide other information and analytical support to the commercial team
 
Experience
 
• Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar position
• Advanced modelling skills and high proficiency in statistical analysis. and data visualization
