A well-established international shipping company, headquartered in New York, is seeking a skilled HSQE Manager to take the lead in ensuring safety and operational standards across the fleet of Dry Bulk vessels.
  
As an HSQE Manager, you will:

• Support the HSQE Director in implementing and continuously improving the company’s Safety Management System.
• Collaborate with technical teams to ensure the Planned Maintenance System is followed and completed by ship personnel.
• Conduct ISM, ISPS, and MLC audits, and contribute to investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective measures.
• Assist in the development of training materials, procedures, and ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices.
• Play a key role in incident investigations and provide onboard training to ensure corrective actions are properly executed.

Requirements:

• At least 3 years as a Chief Engineer or 5 years as a First Engineer on oceangoing bulkers/tankers, with 2 years of shore-based experience in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of ship maintenance systems and planned maintenance procedures.
• Legal work status in the U.S., TWIC certification, and ability to travel internationally.
