We are working with an LNG shipping company based in Qatar, who are seeking an experienced Claims Officer with a minimum of 5 years experience in the shipping industry (2 years handling charter party claims internationally). The ideal Officer must hold a university degree, if you have a diploma in Ship Management & Operations or Ship Chartering this would be a huge advantage.
 
 
In this role, you’ll process claims promptly, work with internal teams, and use charter party terms to get the best results. The role involves supporting negotiations with counterparties. This role requires expertise in maritime contracts, strong analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate across departments to optimise fleet performance and manage claims effectively.
